The Second Forum of Peking University Beijing-Tianjian-Hebei Cardiovascular Disease Prevention and Treatment was held in Xuanhua District, Zhangjiakou, Hebei province on May 26, 2017. Based on the subject of building a medical league of cardiovascular disease prevention and treatment in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, established were “Xuanhua Branch Center of PKUHSC Community Center for Cardiovascular Disease Prevention and Treatment”, “Zhangjiakou Xuanhua Ping’an Hospital Center for Cardiovascular Disease Prevention and Treatment”, “Peking University Shougang Hospital-Xuanhua District Hospital Prevention and Treatment League of Cardiovascular Diseases.”

　　Prof Fang Weigang, Director of PKU Clinical Medicine Institute, presented at the forum and delivered a speech. He pointed out that the convening of the forum was significant because we were at a key point where our country formulated the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei collaborative development strategy, the Olympic Winter Games were about to be held, and the national medical care system was undergoing reforms.

　　Liang Yanru, Vice Director of Zhangjiakou Municipal Bureau of Health and Family Planning, addressed the forum and commented that to closely connect the first-class hospitals in Beijing, the second-class hospitals and the community medical care organizations in Zhangjiakou made it possible for people to enjoy Beijing’s high quality medical services, and also played a very important role in releasing Beijing’s non-capital functions, improving local level of medical diagnosis and treatment, and better implementing the hierarchical medical system.
