Peking University Center for Data Science in Health and Medicine Receives Delegation from Israel
An Israeli delegation visited Peking University Center for Data Science in Health and Medicine on December 1, and held talks with personnel of the center and its partnering institutions. The visitors included Hagai Dror, Director of Government to Government (G2G) Health Cooperation Directorate of Israeli Ministry of Health, Itzik Levy, Head of the National Digital Program under the Department of Digital Health and Information Technology of Israeli MoH, and Robert Moskovitch, Senior Lecturer at Ben Gurion University of the Negev.

During the talks, the visitors introduced Israel’s policy and platform of digital health and explained Israel’s approach to temporal connection and analysis in trans-organizational big data.

Israel boasts an outstanding healthcare system among the OECD (The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development) countries. This visit is expected to enhance mutual understanding between China and Israel in the research and application of health big data, and build momentum for collaboration between Peking University and the Israeli government in this field.
