Professor ZHAO Minghui of Peking University First Hospital Awarded Servier prize

  On October 25, the 8th China-France Medical Forum and Servier Awarding Ceremony of the French National Academy of Medical Sciences were held in Hangzhou. Professor ZHAO Minghui, Director of Renal Medicine at Peking University First Hospital, was awarded the Servier Prize. Professor Raymond Ardaillou of Paris Tenon Hospital, member of the French National Academy of Medical Sciences, presented Professor ZHAO with an honorary certificate. After the awarding ceremony, Professor ZHAO Minghui was invited to give a speech on "The Burden of Chronic Kidney Disease in China" at the forum.

  

  It is reported that the Servier Award was set up in 2013, and since then, it has been given annually by experts organized by the French Academy of Medical Sciences to honor Chinese scientists who have made significant discoveries and innovations in medical sciences with remarkable application results, as well as scholars who have made outstanding contributions to China-France cooperation and exchanges. Academician FAN Daiming, former vice president of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, won the first Servier award.
