PKUPH Signs MOU with Faculty of Medicine of MUST

  

  On the afternoon of September 6, the Faculty of Medicine of Macao University of Science and Technology (MUST) held the opening ceremony for the first bachelor's degree program in general medicine. At the ceremony, Peking University People’s Hospital (PKUPH) and the Faculty of Medicine of MUST signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU). The two sides will open a new chapter of in-depth cooperation, providing more academic and clinical exchanges for Macao and jointly promoting the medical development and health level in Macao.

  Zhang Yang, Director-General of the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Office of the National Health Commission, Li Wei, Director of the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Office of the National Health Commission, Paulo Cunha Alves, Consul-General of Portugal in Macao and Hong Kong, Rafael Custdio Marques, Consul-General of the Republic of Mozambique in Macao, Jiang Baoguo, President of PKUPH,  Guo Changyu, President of Centro Hospitalar Conde de São Januário (CHCSJ), Professor Fausto Pinto, President of the College of Medicine, Lisbon University, Portugal, and representatives of the freshmen of 2019 and teachers of MUST Faculty of Medicine attended the ceremony.

  

  The Faculty of Medicine of MUST is the first medical college in Macau to nurture medical talents and it marks the establishment of a truly meaningful training system for clinical medical talents in Macau and opens up a new milestone. On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the motherland and the 20th anniversary of Macao's return, PKUPH and the Faculty of Medicine of MUST are cooperating further to create a better future and contribute to the health and well-being of the people in both places.
