Prof. Arnulf Stenzl, Secretary General of the European Association of Urology (EAU), visited Peking University Third Hospital in September 15. The German urologist had in-depth discussion with his Chinese peers on the latest development and guideline interpretation in the treatment of urinary tract tumors.

Prof. Stenzl spoke highly of the development of complex surgeries and minimally invasive techniques at the hospital. He called the hospital’s urological department a leader in the field, pointing to its academic strength and drive for further development. He said he is looking forward to more cooperation between China and Europe in clinical trials, translational medicine and training.
