Peking University Health Science Center (PKUHSC) hosted a delegation of Elsevier led by Dr. Carl Schwarz, the publisher’s Senior Vice President of Health and Medical Sciences, for a visit on April 13.

In talks with the visitors, Dr. Wang Jiancheng, head of the PKUHSC department of research affairs, reviewed the latest development at the university. Dr. Shen Ganni, Publisher of Health and Medical Sciences at Elsevier, shared in detail the results from existing bilateral programs and prospects of new opportunities for cooperation. With visualized data, she spoke to the academic impact PKUHSC commands through its outstanding research output.

Following the talks, group discussions were held where over 30 PKUHSC experts had in-depth exchange with Elsevier's publishing directors on topics spanning 22 disciplines, including oncology, radiology, hematology, orthopedics, endocrinology, cardiovascular medicine, neurology and psychiatry, obstetrics and gynecology, public health, and respiratory medicine.
