PKUHSC Evidence-based Nursing Center Holds 2022 JBI gLocal Solution Room
As part of the events celebrating the 110th anniversary of PKU Medicine, the Evidence-based Nursing Center at Peking University Health Science Center hosted on June 12 the 2022 JBI gLocal Solution Room. The online forum, themed “bridging the gap between evidence and practice”, brought together an international panel on the translation and application of evidence in nursing settings. Speakers at the forum included Prof. Zoe Jordan, Executive Director of JBI, University of Adelaide; Assoc. Prof. Christina Godfrey, Scientific Director of JBI Center of Excellence, Queen’s University School of Nursing; Assoc. Prof. Andrea Tricco, Director of the Knowledge Synthesis Team in the Knowledge Translation Program of the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute, St. Michael’s Hospital; Assoc. Prof. Pang Dong, Deputy Director of PKUHSC Evidence-based Nursing Center; and Ye Jing, Head Nurse of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, Peking University First Hospital. The panelists were joined by nurses, faculty members and graduate students both at home and abroad.
The panelists and the audience had heated discussions on evidence translation models, editing and selection, re-evaluation, review criteria, guidelines and consensus.
