On the morning of May 15, Joseph C. Kolars, Senior Associate Dean of University of Michigan Medical School, Director of U-M Global Health Center, and Director of Peking University Health Science Center-University of Michigan Medical School Joint Institute of Translational Medicine and Clinical Research, came to visit PKU. Hao Ping, Secretary of CPC PKU Committee and Chairman of the PKU Council, and Qiao Jie, PKU Vice President and President of PKUHSC, met with the guests in Room 102 of the Office Building.

　　Joseph Kolars remarked that over the years U-M Medical School and PKUHSC have built a solid partnership and given each other sufficient trust and confidence. Up to now, the Joint Institute has published more than a hundred articles in various kinds of academic journals. He hoped that the two schools could explore new fields for further cooperation on the present basis.
