PKU Hosts ICH Forum

The ICH Forum: Overview of Select ICH Guidelines for Clinical Trials, co-hosted by Peking University Clinical Research Institute and Peking University Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Health Sciences Academy (PKU APEC HeSAy), was held September 11 at Beijing E-Town, as a session of the International Biomedical Industry Innovation Conference Beijing Forum. The session was attended by scholars from the United States, European Union and Singapore, executives from 10 Fortune Global 500-listed pharmaceutical companies, and over 400 domestic participants from government, businesses, institutes, hospitals and media. They were joined online by 25 regulators from Hong Kong, Mexico, Peru, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

Focusing on innovation and internationalization, the ICH Forum harbored in-depth discussions on frontier technology, research application, and cross-border regulatory framework, living up to its role as an open platform for international exchange and industrial development.

This is the 11th ICH-related forum organized by the APEC Regulatory Sciences Center of Excellence (APEC Regulatory Sciences CoE), with a view to capacity building in China and the region through enhanced understanding of ICH guidelines. Building on the traction, the CoE will continue to advance its strength and play a positive role.
