China-WHO Health Cooperation Roundtable was held September 8 at Peking University Health Science Center. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Zhang Yang, Director General of International Cooperation at China’s National Health Commission (NHC) and Dr. Martin Taylor, WHO Representative to China.

　　The roundtable gathered over 60 officials and experts, representing the NHC, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Administration of Disease Prevention and Control, National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, National Medical Products Administration, Nation Healthcare Security Administration, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, China National Health Development Research Center, and Vanke School of Public Health. The participants discussed the implementation of China-WHO Country Cooperation Strategy and Healthy China Strategy, as well as China’s role in global health governance.
