On the afternoon of March 22nd, the "Peking University First Hospital - China Telecom Intelligent Computing Joint Lab", jointly built by Peking University First Hospital (PKUFH) and China Telecom, was officially inaugurated, injecting surging momentum into Wise Information Technology of Med (WITMED) and creating new quality productive forces. The Intelligent Computing Joint Lab aims to take full advantage of both parties in medical data resources, communication technology, big data processing, artificial intelligence research, etc., so as to promote the landing and application of cutting-edge information technology, and provide patients with more efficient, high-quality, and convenient medical services.

　　Based on artificial intelligence technology, 5G cloud network, big data, and application services within China Telecom, the healthcare industry team of China Telecom contributes comprehensively to the informatization upgrade of the healthcare industry. The team strives to provide all levels of health authorities, various medical consortia, medical communities, and medical institutions with high-speed and stable network "full connection", exclusive and secure cloud resources "full bearing", consultation planning, scheme support and implementation delivery of "full service" covering three major fields including regional medical informatization, public health informatization, and smart hospitals, so as to help achieve the strategic goal of "Healthy China".

　　After the inauguration ceremony, both sides visited the information rooms of Daxing Campus, the construction of which China Telecom had joined in. They fully exchanged views on various topics including information infrastructure construction and big model data.

　　In the future, PKUFH will take the Intelligent Computing Joint Lab as its hinterland, fully activate the new track and model of WITMED, build new fields and advantages of WITMED, consolidate the foundation of multi-hospital data sharing, and provide higher quality intelligent medical services, so as to further promote the accumulation and improvement of new quality productive forces, and facilitate the high-quality development of the hospital.
