From June 6th to 7th, 2024, Academician Qiao Jie, Executive Vice President of Peking University and President of Peking University Health Science Center (PKUHSC), led a delegation to Macau and visited Macau Polytechnic University (MPU). She was invited to attend the graduation ceremony of MPU and was awarded an honorary doctoral degree. Qiao Jie also met with Ouyang Yu, Director of the Social and Cultural Affairs of Macao Special Administrative Region, and visited the University of Macau. She also paid an official call to Zheng Xincong, Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region, and visited alumni representatives of Peking University in Macau. Li Wei, Deputy Director of the Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Affairs Office of the National Health Commission, accompanied the visit.

　　On the afternoon of June 7th, Qiao Jie attended the 2024 Graduation Ceremony of MPU. Ouyang Yu, Director of the Social and Cultural Affairs of Macao SAR, awarded Qiao Jie an honorary doctoral degree from MPU to recognize her outstanding academic achievements and significant contributions to the development of society and education.
