PKU First Hospital Endocrinologists attend EASD Annual Meeting
The endocrinological department of Peking University First Hospital (PUFH) presented three studies at the 60th Annual Meeting of European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD). As Europe’s biggest and most prestigious meeting in the field, the event gathered physicians and scientists from around the world to share in the latest development in diabetic diagnosis, treatment and research.
The PUFH studies featured at the meeting included “Efficacy and Safety of HS-20094 in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes” by Dr. Liu Lin, “Distinct cord blood lipid signatures and its insights into childhood metabolic health” by Dr. Zheng Jia, and “Maternal high-fat diet regulates offspring hepatic ABCG5 expression and cholesterol metabolism via the gut microbiota and its derived butyrate” by Dr. Zhang Ling. Dr. Zheng’s presentation won her the Travel Grant of the meeting.
The active participation of the PUFH exhibited the great academic potential of a younger generation of its endocrinologists and enhanced their visibility among international peers.
