The 2024 Peking University Interdisciplinary Nursing Research (INR) Forum Held
From November 22nd to 23rd, 2024, the "2024 Peking University Interdisciplinary Nursing Research (INR) Forum", sponsored by PKU School of Nursing a and the journal- Interdisciplinary Nursing Research and organized by the Zhuhai Nursing Society, was held in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province. With the theme of "Integrated Innovation · Empowering Nursing", this forum aimed to promote the interdisciplinary integration of the nursing discipline and contribute to the cooperation and development of the international health undertakings. The forum invited renowned experts and scholars in the fields of global nursing and related disciplines to share their cutting-edge achievements. More than 300 researchers in nursing and other related disciplines from all over the country participated in the forum.
During the academic report session, experts and scholars from cutting-edge interdisciplinary fields such as global nursing, artificial intelligence, and architecture jointly explored the application of interdisciplinary research in the field of nursing and shared their latest achievements.
Besides, the forum received a total of 53 full-text submissions and 207 abstract submissions. Six excellent papers were selected, whose authors were invited to share their works at the conference. Additionally, from nearly three hundred of the most cutting-edge academic achievements in solving problems in the field of nursing by means of interdisciplinary techniques collected globally, more than forty were selected for poster presentation. The participants had a lively discussion on research directions, research topics and future cooperation.
This forum provided a platform for communication and cooperation for scientific researchers and young scholars in global nursing and related disciplines. PKU School of Nursing and the journal INR will continue to actively build an international platform to serve the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and national strategies such as the "Belt and Road Initiative", promote the interdisciplinary integration and international health cooperation, and contribute to the development and innovation of the nursing discipline.
