PKUHSC Hosts 3rd Medical Museum Forum
The 3rd Peking University Medical Museum Forum was held at and hosted by Peking University Health Science Center (PKUHSC) on May 24. It was co-organized by PKU Medical Library, PKUHSC Archive Center, and Hainan Saint Apricot Medical Development Foundation, with strategic support from BrightGene Bio-Medical Technology Co., Ltd. The forum was themed “Cross-dimensional Reconstruction of Modern Medicine in the AI Era”, where experts discussed the profound changes brought about by AI in the field of medical museums, the use of AI to achieve innovation and dissemination of medical knowledge, the in-depth exploration and inheritance of medical history and culture, and the cross-dimensional reconstruction and ecological innovation of medical museums.
As side events of the forum, special exhibitions were opened to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Tu Youyou winning Nobel Prize, feature collections from members of the China Medical Museum Construction Alliance, and showcase cultural and creative works by young scholars at medical schools. These side events coincided with ongoing exhibitions on the PKUHSC campus that pay tribute to its rich history.
The forum is part of a series of events during the Beijing Museum Season.
