In October 21-23, Peking University School of Nursing cohosted Interdisciplinary Nursing Research Forum in Hong Kong with Interdisciplinary
Peking University Health Science Center hosted a visit by Juntendo University in November 5-7 for the 10th Joint Symposium between the two sides. The Juntendo delegation was led by its CEO Ogawa Hideoki and included President Daida Hiroyuki, Assistant President Hattori Nobutaka, Vice President Naito Toshio of Juntendo Hospital, and Niyonsaba Francois of Faculty of International Liberal Arts.

At the joint symposium, Wang Jiancheng, Director of the PKUHSC Office of Scientific Research, announced the first round of supported projects by the PKUHSC-Juntendo Joint Research Center, which included three pilot projects and seven exploratory projects. The themes included cutting-edge biomaterials and targeted therapy technologies, cell therapy and tumor microenvironment mechanisms, cross-border comparative studies and public health research, as well as precise imaging and mechanism research of cardiovascular diseases. Representatives of each project team gave project introductions in turn, covering core aspects such as research background, technical routes, and expected goals.
During the visit, experts from both sides also conducted thematic exchanges in groups where in-depth discussions were held over nine fields, including nephrology, sports medicine, pathogenic biology, and medical humanities.
