On the noon of March 23, 2026, the unveiling ceremony of “Peking University Third Hospital-Baheal Pharma Group Reproductive Function Restoration Joint Research and Development Center” was held at PKUTH. It marks the full launch of strategic cooperation between the two parties in the field of reproductive medicine transformation research.

In his speech, Fu Gang, Chairman of Baheal Pharma Group (BPG), said that BPG will give full play to its advantage in professional transformation investment and industrial ecological incubation, and address the shortcomings of industrialization faced by scientists through the Joint R&D Center. The two parties will jointly promote the transformation of original Chinese pharmaceuticals.

At the meeting, Yan Jieren, Deputy Director of the Reproductive Medicine Center of PKUTH, detailed the strategic planning and construction path of the joint research center. She said that this collaboration will integrate the clinical advantages and basic research findings of PKUTH in reproductive medicine, as well as the mature platforms of BPG in drug structure analysis, formulation development, and industrialization, focusing on two major directions: ovarian function improvement and endometrial injury repair. It aims to create a "full chain" paradigm for drug and device research and development in the field of reproductive health.

Academician Qiao Jie, President of PKUHSC, pointed out in her concluding speech that this collaboration is a vivid practice that responds to the call of the country and integrates industry, academia, research, and application. She emphasized that the establishment of this joint research and development center will not only promote the research and development of drugs and medical devices in the field of reproductive function restoration, but also serve as an important platform for attracting and cultivating outstanding interdisciplinary talents. She encouraged the young research backbones of the center to stay down-to-earth, bravely shoulder important responsibilities, and let the “seeds” of innovation take root and germinate in the fertile soil jointly cultivated by PKUTH and BPG, and eventually bear fruitful results.
