A delegation from the Netherlands headed by Minister Bruno Bruins of Health, Welfare and Sport visited Peking University Health Science Center and met with President Zhan Qimin on the morning of April 10. The two sides exchanged ideas on a variety of health-related issues ranging from healthy aging to healthcare systems and health expenditures. After the meeting, the Dutch delegation went on and visited Peking University Third Hospital.

　　Also in the 25-person delegation were Counselor Peter Bootsma for Health, Welfare and Sport at the Dutch Embassy to China, Director-General Bas van den Dungen of Curative Care at the Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS), VWS Deputy Director Roland Driece of International Affairs, Politic Advisors Rene ten Have and Anja Pel-Roest, President Kristel Baele of Erasmus University Rotterdam, Dean Hans Severens of Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management, and representatives from 11 other institutions, including Elsevier, MAASTRO Clinic, RSM Netherlands Accountants, and University of Groningen.
