PKU First Hospital Holds the 11th Hong Kong-Beijing-Taiyuan Internal Medicine Forum

  

  Peking University First Hospital (PKUFH) held the “19th Shanxi Provincial Conference of Cardiovascular Disease and 2018 Hong Kong-Beijing-Taiyuan Internal Medicine Forum” in Taiyuan in collaboration with the University of Hong Kong-Queen Mary Hospital (HKU-QMH), the Second Hospital of Shanxi Medical University, and the Internal Medicine Branch of Beijing Medical Association. The Conference was co-sponsored by the Shanxi Province Medical Association. As an important parallel session, the “2018 Hong Kong-Beijing-Taiyuan Internal Medicine Forum” (the Forum) welcomed a full house of more than 700 specialists from Hong Kong, Beijing, and Shanxi. After the opening ceremony, Professor Yuan Mengfeng from HKU-QMH and Professor Yu Feng from PKUFH delivered reports respectively on “Changing the Treatment Cognition of Hepatitis B” and “ Thrombotic Microangiopathy”. Professor Zhao Minghui from PKUFH and Professor Ye Xiuwen from HKU-QMH made comments accordingly.

  

  Since 2008, the Forum has been held successfully in Beijing, Hangzhou, Xi’an, Fuzhou, Harbin, Shenzhen, Luoyang, Jinan, and Chifeng. The Forum has helped doctors of internal medicine in many cities acquire abundant knowledge of big internal medicine and set up a thinking pattern to observe and analyze across the board, so as to solve clinical problems more efficiently.
