The 3rd Pan-Pacific Leading Dental Schools Symposium Held in Beijing

From June 9 to 10, 2026, the 2026 Pan-Pacific Leading Dental Schools Symposium took place and drew to a successful close in Beijing alongside the 2026 China International Dental Equipment & Materials Exhibition.
This symposium marks the third event in the academic conference series hosted by the Pan-Pacific Leading Dental Schools Alliance. The previous two sessions were successfully held in South Korea and New Zealand respectively. Co-hosted by the Peking University School and Hospital of Stomatology, this year’s conference invited delegations from four overseas institutions, namely the University of Melbourne (Australia), the University of Otago (New Zealand), Seoul National University (the Republic of Korea) and Tokyo University of Science. It also brought together experts and scholars from numerous renowned domestic stomatological schools, who gathered to discuss cutting-edge advances in stomatology.

As a core session of this symposium, representatives from five dental institutions — Peking University School and Hospital of Stomatology, University of Melbourne Faculty of Dentistry, University of Otago Faculty of Dentistry, Seoul National University School of Dentistry and Tokyo University of Science Faculty of Dentistry — jointly lit the cooperation launching pillar, marking that the Pan-Pacific Leading Dental Schools Alliance has entered a new phase of regularized in-depth collaboration. Moving forward, the five schools will carry out all-round cooperation covering shared academic resources, joint research projects and student exchange programs. By hosting annual academic symposiums, they will continuously deepen collaborative innovation and integrated development in stomatology across the Pan-Pacific region.
