Malawian Delegation of Higher Education Visits PKU Health Science Center

  

  Malawian delegation of higher education, headed by Dr. Billy Gama, Chairman of the Board of University of Malawi (UM), visited Peking University Health Science Center on May 7. The delegation included Professor Al Mtenje, Vice President of UM, Professor Jonathan Makuwira, Vice President of Technological University of Malawi, Professor Fred Msiska, Vice President of Mzuzu University, Professor Lewis Dzimbiri, Vice President of Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Dr. Benedicto Malunga, Provost of UM, Professor Richard Tambulasi, Dean of Chancellor’s College of UM, Dr. Mwapasa Mipando, Dean of Medical School of UM, Dr. Mercy Pindani, Dean of Nursing School of UM, Professor Grant Kululanga, Dean of School of Science and Technology of UM, Mr. Henry Chiwaya, Financial Officer of UM, and Professor Silas Ncozana from Blantyre Church University.

  Professor Duan Liping, Vice President of PKUHSC, and some staff received the guests. The two sides held heated discussions on the building of university scientific research capacity, the model of postgraduates training, the training program of students of stomatology, and joint-application for scientific research projects.
