A delegation from Peking University Third Hospital led by Vice President Shen Ning paid an invited visit to Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) in June 2-3 and met with MUST Vice President Tam Kwong Hang. The trip aimed to deepen bilateral cooperation in pharmacy and related fields, and explore new collaboration models in teaching and research. The delegation also included Director Han Jiangli of Teaching Affairs and Director Zhao Rongsheng and Deputy Director Yang Li of Pharmacy.

The meeting reviewed prior cooperation outcomes: at the Pharmacy Department of Peking University Third Hospital, 15 undergraduate students from MUST’s Faculty of Pharmacy completed their summer pharmacy practice, while 11 finished clinical practice, received graduation thesis supervision and successfully defended their theses. The quality of the training was highly commended by MUST, and the 2026 program is currently in progress.

Building on the momentum, the two institutions planned to co-develop summer courses and a doctoral program in Pharmacy Administration and Food Management. They would also explore diversified cooperation frameworks such as part-time supervisor appointments and part-time teaching, signaling the expansion of collaboration from undergraduate education to higher levels and broader domains.
