23rd Chinese International Congress of Vascular Medicine Convenes in Beijing

The 23rd Chinese International Congress of Vascular Medicine (CCVM 2026) was hosted at Peking University Shougang Hospital from June 12 to 14. Themed “Weight Management and Vascular Health”, the event comprised a plenary forum and over 10 sub-forums, drawing more than 100 domestic experts and scholars for academic exchanges with a global vision. Attendees jointly explored new territories and directions for vascular health, opening a new chapter of innovation in the field.

During the opening ceremony, plaques were awarded to alliance members of the project to build a national center for digital vascular medicine—Peking University First Hospital and Handan Hangang Hospital. The ceremony also marked the inauguration of the International Vascular Research Center under the Vascular Health Research Center of Peking University Health Science Center, and the appointment of the center’s expert panel.

Over the past 23 years, the CCVM has grown from promise to prominence through unremitting exploration. Going forward, it will continue to work with peers worldwide to advance new models of vascular disease prevention and treatment and gain new ground in the field.
