Peking University Health Science Center (PKUHSC) hosted the first group of nursing students for internship between April 3 and 12 from the 3^rd Hong Kong-Mainland Medical Students Integration Program. Eleven nursing students from 5 universities and institutions including the University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and the Hospital Authority of Hong Kong completed immersive study and exchange.

Building on the momentum of the two previous programs, this year’s program combined clinical practice with cultural immersion, in an effort to deepen mutual learning in nursing education between mainland and Hong Kong and promote coordinated development.

Through the platform this program offered, students from Hong Kong learned about nursing protocols, patient management, and humanistic care.
