Recently, a delegation from Azerbaijan State Advanced Training Institute for Doctors named after A. Aliyev paid a visit to Peking University People’s Hospital (PKUPH). The two parties held in-depth discussions on cooperation initiatives including medical student exchanges and advanced training programs for young physicians. In response to the Azerbaijani side’s intention to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on cooperation, PKUPH expressed its commitment to actively advancing relevant work.

After the forum, the delegation visited the People’s Park, Outpatient Hall, and International Medical Building of PKUPH.

This visit has laid a solid foundation for practical cooperation in areas such as talent training, faculty development, and scientific research collaboration. Both sides look forward to joining hands under the framework of the “Health Silk Road” to promote the training of medical professionals and the development of the healthcare system, benefiting the people of both countries.
