On the noon of April 14, 2026, Professor Spyridon Kintzios, President of the Agricultural University of Athens (AUA), Greece, led a delegation to visit Peking University Third Hospital (PKUTH). The two sides held in-depth exchanges and reached extensive consensus on key issues including deepening scientific research cooperation and talent cultivation, practicing the concept of “One Health”, and advancing the interdisciplinary innovative development of medicine and agriculture.

During the free exchange session, both sides conducted all-round discussions on the implementation pathways of interdisciplinary cooperation and clarified future cooperation priorities. Four key areas for collaboration were identified: first, establishing a talent exchange platform; second, strengthening joint talent training; third, building a collaborative innovation system to create an integrated industry-university-research-medicine cooperation platform; fourth, improving the chain of research achievement transformation. This exchange has charted the course for future practical cooperation between the two institutions and laid a solid foundation for boosting innovative breakthroughs in the interdisciplinary integration of medicine and agriculture.
