President of China Medical Board and Delegation Visit Peking University Health Science Center
On October 28, 2025, a delegation from the China Medical Board (CMB), including Roger Glass, President of the CMB, Barbara J. Stoll, Executive Vice President, John Lichten, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, and Li Wenkai, Chief Representative in China, visited Peking University Health Science Center. Qiao Jie, Executive Vice President of PKU and President of PKUHSC, met with the guests.
Qiao Jie welcomed the delegation’s visit. She said that in recent years, PKUHSC and CMB have worked hand in hand to promote a series of landmark projects, achieving remarkable results that have mutually empowered both sides and produced solid outcomes. This has built a bridge for continuous cooperation in the medical field between China and the United States and contributed to the construction of a community of health for all mankind with concrete actions. She expressed the hope that both sides would continue to deepen cooperation in the future, gather strength through exchanges, and jointly contribute to the health and well-being of the people of China and the United States.
Roger Glass spoke highly of PKUHSC’s rapid development and remarkable achievements in recent years, as well as its outstanding contributions to medical exchanges and mutual learning between China and the United States. He noted that CMB and PKUHSC have carried out numerous multi-level and wide-ranging projects in various fields such as talent cultivation and public health, achieving remarkable results. These initiatives have also explored many replicable cooperative models in promoting humanity exchanges between China and the United States. CMB hopes to work with PKUHSC in the future to innovate cooperation forms, expand cooperation channels, and promote extensive exchanges among medical professionals in both countries.

During the meeting, the two sides also held in-depth discussions on cooperation projects such as the youth exchange program in the medical and health fields between China and the United States, and the training of child psychiatrists in China.
