Peking University Shougang Hospital’s Hospice Care Conveys China’s Warmth to the World

Recently, the documentary “Love Will Remain,” produced by China Media Group’s Economic Voice, stood out in the “Together for Peace Media Awards” (T4P) co-organized by the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) and UNESCO, winning the People Award. Based on the hospice care ward at Peking University Shougang Hospital (PKUSH), this documentary captivated international judges with its authentic life narratives and profound humanistic depth. It not only introduced China’s hospice care philosophy to the world but also elevated PKUSH’s Hospice Care Center into an internationally influential benchmark brand. The work conveys the human warmth and benevolent strength of Chinese healthcare to the global community.

The T4P is presented annually at the United Nations Climate Summit with great fanfare. Given its prestige and influence, competition for the award has always been fierce. After multiple rounds of rigorous voting, “Love Will Remain” emerged victorious, becoming the sole award-winning entry from China Media Group in this year’s competition. As the international jury noted, “This story of ordinary people from China touches hearts with its delicate humanistic care and has the power to inspire the majority of the world.” This recognition highlights the exceptional strength of China’s documentary production and the unique value of China’s hospice care.
