On the afternoon of November 12, 2025, the delegation from the Duke-NUS Transplant Center of Singapore Health Group (SingHealth) visited Peking University Third Hospital (PKUTH). Led by Professor Prema Raj, Director of the Transplant Center and Senior Consultant in Hepatobiliary Pancreatic and Transplant Surgery, the delegation included Associate Professor Chen Liying, Co-Director of the Asia Healthcare Leadership and Management Institute at Duke-NUS Global Health Institute, Professor Brian Goh, Director of the Liver Transplant Program, and members of the Transplant Center management team. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on cutting-edge fields such as transplant medicine, artificial intelligence and data innovation, and robotic surgical technology.

During the discussion session, both parties conducted in-depth discussions regarding the establishment of a joint research platform under the framework of the “Asian Transplant Federated Learning Network”. Both sides expressed their hope to leverage this exchange as an opportunity to further deepen practical cooperation in areas such as organ transplantation technology and cross-border collaborative research. Together, they aim to build a scientific research innovation hub for transplant medicine in the Asia-Pacific region, thereby benefiting more patients.
