A Delegation from Chiang Mai University of Thailand Visits Peking University Health Science Center
On April 9, 2026, a delegation led by Narain Chotirosniramit, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Chiang Mai University, Thailand, and Tanida Srisuwan, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, visited Peking University Health Science Center. Wang Jiadong, Vice President of PKUHSC, met with the delegation. Also present were Xu Ming, Director of the Office of Discipline Construction and Executive Vice Dean of the Graduate School; Wang Jiancheng, Director of the Office of Scientific Research; Liu Yan, Director of the Office of International Cooperation; Cai Zhigang, Vice President of PKU School of Stomatology; Li Xiaojia, Deputy Director of the Office of International Cooperation; and Li Guotao, Deputy Director of the President’s Office at PKU School of Stomatology.

During the meeting, both sides provided an overview of their respective institutions’ development, academic strengths, and achievements in international cooperation. During the open discussion, they explored the possibilities of collaboration in areas such as the cultivation of students’ international perspectives, academic exchanges, joint research, and skills training for young physicians.
This visit further enhanced mutual understanding and laid a solid foundation for future in-depth cooperation in the field of medicine and health. The deepening of the partnership between Peking University Health Science Center and Chiang Mai University will help promote mutual learning and exchange between the two countries in the fields of medical education, scientific research and innovation, and healthcare services, enabling them to jointly address regional and global health challenges.
