Senior Vice President of Technical University of Munich Visits Health Science Center
On December 8, 2025, Juliane Winkelmann, Senior Vice President of the Technical University of Munich (TUM), led a delegation to visit Peking University Health Science Center (PKUHSC). During the visit, the two sides signed a new memorandum of understanding.

Qiao Jie, Executive Vice President of PKU and President of PKUHSC, met with Winkelmann and her delegation. Qiao noted that TUM is a key partner of PKUHSC, with both institutions maintaining long-standing close and friendly interactions through mutual visits, joint conferences, and scientific collaborations. Winkelmann affirmed the achievements of their collaboration and the deep friendship between the two institutions. She emphasized that their complementary strengths have fostered continuously growing cooperation. TUM looks forward to further deepening collaboration with PKUHSC to achieve comprehensive synergy across multiple fields. Building on this foundation, both parties will jointly explore new topics in global health, making greater contributions to advancing international medical exchange and cooperation while safeguarding the common health of humanity.

Subsequently, both parties jointly signed a memorandum of understanding, pledging to comprehensively advance in-depth collaboration in the medical field through various means, including faculty and student exchanges, joint research initiatives, and collaborative seminars.
