On April 13, 2026, Mr. Tran Diep Tuan, Secretary of the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Vietnam, led a delegation to visit Peking University Health Science Center (PKUHSC). During the visit, the two sides exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation.

In his address, Tran Diep Tuan stated that this was actually his second visit to PKUHSC. During his first visit last year, he was deeply impressed by the “MedSeek” large language model developed by PKUHSC, recognizing its enormous potential in AI-assisted medical student training. He expressed the hope that the two universities would carry out substantive cooperation in fields including AI-assisted medical education, exchanges for young doctors and scholars, and joint research, so as to jointly drive innovation and reform in medical education models.
