PKU People’s Hospital Signs MoU with Kazakh National Emergency Medicine Coordination Center
Peking University People’s Hospital (PUPH) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kazakh National Emergency Medicine Coordination Center (NEMCC) in October 17. The signing ceremony was held at the PUPH and saw the presence of President Wang Jun and Vice President Wang Tianbing of the hospital, Deputy Chairman Askhat Saparov of the NEMCC Board, as well as doctors from both sides. It represented a strategic step in PUPH’s efforts to strengthen cooperation with countries along the “Belt and Road”.

This MoU is based on the consensus reached at the 2024 First China-SCO Emergency Medicine Conference, in response to Kazakhstan's needs for building new multi-disciplinary emergency medicine clinics. Through in-depth collaboration in areas such as emergency medical system construction, training, and academic exchanges, the two sides would work together to improve health services in the region.
