Prof. Peter Irving visited Peking University People’s Hospital on April 17 and delivered a cutting-edge academic presentation entitled “Evolving Management Goals in Ulcerative Colitis (UC)”. Prof. Irving is a world-leading expert in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and former Chair of the Education Committee of the European Crohn's and Colitis Organization (ECCO).

Peking University People’s Hospital was the first hospital the professor had visited in China, and he spoke highly of the rigor and standardization at the hospital’s department of gastroenterology in managing complex IBD cases.

This visit is believed to be a solid step for further cooperation.
